PICS finally up:
please note, car came with 2 mint black fenders, mint 87 style tails and a brand new black bumper header panel. (basically all i need to get it pristine again)
Front and rear bumpers will be painted and car is getting buffed and she should be great looking!

Hi all, name is Steve, Im in Georgia a bit south of Atlanta.

So I just got my very first Supra. An 87 hardtop turbo 5 speed. The car is in almost mint condition except for the motor knocks like crazy. Car has 229,000 miles. Body is near perfect (minus front fenders which are OK) so is the interior. Only flaws is the late 80's painting on the rubber bumpers, faded, but I will fix that.

Car still has the factory jack and bag, owners manual and maintenance papers. (from previous previous owner obviously {hint: rod knock})

Im not new to Toyota's, I currently own a swapped 86 MKI MR2 that I daily drive. Im a member on the MR2OC maybe a few of you are on there as well, it would be awesome to see some AW11 guys here too.

Anyways plans for this car are as such:
Rebuild the 7M-GTE with forged internals
(Ross Pistons, Eagle Rods and maybe Manley Valves)
MHG (unsure of which brand atm)
Run the stock CT26 for now which has 0 shaft play.
Later on the upgraded CT26.
Really want a Turbonetics turbo but since im new to FI im going in steps to learn.
Want to do suspension after the motor has the upgraded CT26 and exhaust goodies. Not sure on what the setup will be, something for the street though.

Anyways no pics here as of yet, but give me a bit and Ill get them up.

Looking forward to learning from you guys!

Yeah we get a pretty fair price. Im ordering all my parts for this car through work.. or atleast the parts I can get. The most expensive ones though we do have :)

After looking more at work, come up with wheel options, I think Im going to go the Enkei RPF1 route with 18x10 rear and 18x8 front. Working on offsets.

This whole build will take me probably 8mo's to a year, but I like to do tons of research on what works and what doesn't. I write down all my parts after research and add as I go. Marking them off in order of buying them. Helps me realize a whole project to come together the way I want it or visualized it vs. not writing it down and changing things 50 times before its done.

But I will try to get some pics of it this weekend, but may be tied up all weekend I need to put the suspension on my MR2, going ST springs & swaybars, Koni shocks, aftermarket rear tied rods, Poly bushings, new ball joints f&R, and rebuilt steering rack. We'll see how that goes.

Thanks for the welcome guys, Still doing some reading, but will be posting some questions in the MKIII section soon on some things I need clarified.
