I searched on these threads but i might have missed something. My question is what headgasket to use. I whant to use the Titan one but i need a different size. I dont know which one though the 86mm or 84mm. From searching i know stock bore diameter is 83 mm i am over boring .040 or 1mm. I think i have to use the 84mm gasket but i can't find it. Do i have to get it custom made or does anyone know where i can find one? Any help is appreciated.

amazing. Im searching for answers to the same question. Any help from you pros would be greatly appreciated. I saw where defiant bored to 86 mm but I also think he had his block coated for heat. What is the max safe bore to get out of this block?
84mm bore and an 84mm MHG I'd be a little concerned about heating the edge of the gasket if the dowels aren't exactly right.....

Bore as little as possible, I usually see people sticking around .040 max.
Larger can be done, I personally just don't see it often.

I thought the only reason people bored it out was if the piston walls were scared badly.

It does increase performance, but the gains are so minimal from doing it just for the sake of that is pointless.s383mmber1 said:

Like I said, do as little as possible.
83.5mm = .020"
84mm = .040"
84.5mm = .060"
I believe you can use a gasket that is a size larger than what you are boring to also.
