I need you guys opinion on what i should do with my head gasket. I have a warped head and a bit of ware on the cam journals but the lobes are perfect so i don't know if the bottom is in good condition, when it ran it made really good power upto 6k witch is the highest i have ever took it but it still pulled like it could go to 6500 and make more power (very smooth).
1) Have the head checked for cracks and then lap it and put it back on.
2) Store the guy for a couple of months and Rebuild the entire engine to stock spec But i would have to buy a car to use in the mean wile.
But i do feel the bottom is in good condition, but you never know. BTW, i got the warped head because 11 of the 14 studs where seized VARY badly, it even crushed the top of the thread because the bolts where so duty when the guy before put them on.:icon_conf
