Welcome to Supramania.

The TEMS is the Toyota electronically modulated suspension system that automatically control the damping effect of the shock absorbers. You have two selection between Normal and Sport mode with the push of buttons.

Normal is for normal driving, such as city traffic and Sport is for sporty driving on cornering roads and high speed cruising.

Not sure what Super Monitor is though, I just know it is in place of the digital clock.

Super monitor calculates things like mpg and you can check engine codes through it, oil change calculations, fuel consumed, date/time, not sure what else, kind of like the Heads Up Display (HUD) on newer cars. I've heard from the calculations it makes it can help improve gas mileage.

Also, only the 86.5-89 have thw wiring harness for adding it if you don't have it. But...only some of the 86.5 have it and I'm not entirely sure but I think some of the 89's have it too, not all of them, I'm guessing the earlier manufactured ones.

search through the forum and go through the the specific engine forums it will help a lot as many have done the same thing. post some pics of the supra's and good luck on converting if you decide to do so.

I agree, use keywords such as "engine swap" or "7mgte (or 7m-gte) swap" "turbo swap" there is also a sticky for turboing the n/a engine and many threads about it as well. If you want to search that I suggest using the keyword "NA-T" and your results will probably include the sticky.

And most important of ALL.....post some pics :icon_bigg

Welcome Brad.
