Hey guys, I am a member from supraforums.com.au, I am from down under and thought I would join here aswell. I recently bought myself a 1988 Toyota Supra Turbo A off an older bloke who lived a fair distance from me. He imported it from Japan and it still had the running in oil in the engine when it came into his possesion so him and I assumed the engine must have been rebuilt. It has only done 100000km's (roughly 60000miles) and has no modifications done what so ever. So I figured it would be a good buy for me, I can do everything I want to do to it. I have previously owned a MKIII but it was NA and I did not even have my license yet so my parents decided not to let me keep it, little did they know the bug had already bitten. I have a few plans for her when i get the cash together such as --

-Spearco Intercooler (not a replica), not bought yet
-A bloke from sf.com.au gave me a manual boost controller and I have put that on.
-Prosport boost gauge, smoked face style, buying this thursday.
-Hopefully going to get in on the group buy for MKIII leatherettes this month.
-Full 3inch turbo back exhaust with somesort of muffler to keep it relatively quite, still shopping around.
-Looking for some rims that take my fancy, 17/18x8.5/9.5x35+ with 235's allround.
Apexi SAFC , buying this thursday aswell.
- I have bought a cometic HG aswell as ARP head bolts, but am not putting them in until I blow my HG. My stock one has been re torqued by myself to the torque that alot of the guys on SF.com.au recommened. The stock one seems to be fine at this point in time.
- I definately will not be putting a bodykit on , I love the plain and simple stylings of the MKIII.

If you guys would like to comment/give me your thoughts on my plans/help me with something that I should/shouldn't do I would greatly appreciate.
Cheers Guys, sorry about the huge post aswell. Thanks and hope to hear from some of you asap.

welcome mate. Can't comment unless you make the mandatory post for us with pictures in it lol. I have never seen a turbo A in real life ...someday...

Yeah I figured somebody would say that, I do not have a digital camera at the moment. I will post pics asap but if you could still make comments either for or againts my plans I would appreciate it.
Turbo A's are the sexiest thing to have ever graced this planet in my opinion. Someday you might be lucky enough to see one, I feel great because I get to drive one every day.
