so i guess this is my official intro thread.

my name is ian, i live in chicago, but i am currently stationed in carbondale, at SIUC as freshman in the automotive technology program. im 18, and ive been working on cars for about 5 years.

i actually dont own a supra, yet. but i do rock toyota pride:i own a 1988 celica that is in pretty much mint condition. ive been workoing on it for about three years, its gone through a hell of a transformation. but the kicker is, i just started driving it about a month and a half ago.

moy: ive got a core waiting, i just dont have piping. i was going to buy a kit from 935motorsports.com and then rob, the guy who runs it, f***** me over and never sent me my kit, so...yeah. long story short i drive it with out a hood to keep the IC cool.

well i just found out the one i was going to buy was sold last week. so im gonna hold off on selling my celica for a bit, or unless someone comes with a trade. really anything turbo rear wheel drive and manual that has little to no rust. or im looking for 4200 for the celica, and everything it comes with.

i would really love to have a 1jz swapped mk3, and that was what i was going to buy, but it sold. so now i guess im still looking. if any one knows of anything in the chicago land area, please let me know.
