What's up guys and gals? Some of you might have seen me on SF (7M-GTEric) but everyone keeps telling me to check out SupraMania so here I am haha.

Anyway, I'm Eric, 22, live in Knoxville, TN and drive a teal/shadow grey 92 turbo, M/T, targa, yada yada...almost stock.

I'm actually currently in Krakow, Poland but I'll be back in the good ole' US of A in a month. Needless to say, after 4 months here, I'm missin the Supe! I've been keeping up with the weather back home and for the first time yesterday it broke 90*, which got me thinking...I've always thought my car ran a little hot and I'm trying to think of ways to remedy that, and I came across this in the TSRM:

My question goes out to anyone who actually has this on their car; in your opinion, does this fan move enough air to be worth installing and wiring up to a thermostat/manual switch for those hot, stop n go days I often find myself stuck in?

welcome...and no

your car is running hot for other reasons.....which should be fixed properly......maybe its time you rebuild your clutch fan

do you have the shroud that goes around the fan?

I actually don't; I've been searching for one locally but haven't had much luck. I've got another fan clutch lying around; maybe I should see if it behaves any differently than the one I have on it now...

It's not that the car overheats, I've just always thought it ran a little hotter than it should.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Oh well-it was fun while it lasted :icon_conf

Anyway, I don't have any good pics, as I'm in Poland right now and my hard drive crashed while I was here :nono: I posted the only one I had in the "official teal pics" thread.
