My name is Franco I have been on here since august 07 shortly before I got my supra but have not really posted. So I figured its about time I introduced my self.
I'm a 18 year old student attending NAIT college in Edmonton Alberta.

Love the supra even if they are expensive to keep on the road.

It is a white/maroon 87 7m-GTE hardtop.

When I got the car it was not in the greatest condition. It had sat for two years and a squirrel or mouse had used the engine as it's home. It chewed through a few wires including an injector wire.

I had it repainted BMW Alpine White but my uncle (not the greatest paint job but i cant complain for $400) got a tune up and oil change on the car and had a new Magnaflow muffler and resonator to replace one of the cats as it was rusted out and some had fallen off. The headlight switch was busted so I got a new one.. it was meant for an 89 so I another new one.

A few months in the timing belt went on me no big deal I expect it has never been replaced. A few weeks later I replaced it again when the guild on the crank gear (I think that is what it is) tore off and chewed the new belt to pieces.

I blew a coolant line a wile back but is running well for having over 200,000km's. Except I ran in to a curb a few weeks ago bent the spindle $1k later that was fixed and now the power steering line that just blew thanks to the -40c weather we have been having in Edmonton.

I have also put in H4 halogen headlights witch I think make a big improvement in visibility. And all new brake pads and rotors as the squeaking was getting annoying.

Its not perfect there is a little rust showing through the paint and I add a little oil, coolant and clutch fluid every few weeks. But its still fun!

Welcome. Use lacquer thinner to remove the over spray. Use the TSRM to fix your car. Use the search function before asking questions. Have fun here. We do.

Steering wheel lock made me LOL!!!:biglaugh:

Welcome, looks like you have a great car to start with!! The pictures make the paint job look pretty good so I would say it was worth the money. Check the parts section for your missing trim, or put up a parts wanted request.

Good Luck

Franco: Just so you know 10 seconds with a hacksaw is all it takes to defeat those steering wheel locks...

I know, but its better than nothing right.
Plus I got a car alarm not to long ago.:icon_bigg
