Can someone help me with a conversion. I had my head milled down .012 inches. and that is about = 0.30mm. Stock hgs are 1.2mm so theroretically I would need a 1.5mm head gasket to keep the stock compression. Now I am probably going to go with a 1.31mm cometic hg which would draw the head 0.19mm closer to the block. The guy I talked to said it should make much of a difference, and a slightly higher compression wouldnt be too bad for me since I wont be going for high boost any time soon if ever. Im think prob around 14-15psi now.

does anybody know how much it will raise the comp.? - Are any of my calc. wrong? - Does anybody have any opinions on the matter. Thanks

by the way... heres a calc. http://www.torinocobra.com/Randys_tools.htm
but I didnt know all the #'s

you can always try to find a copy of desktop dyno 2000 and do some math there. its pretty decent about pointing you in the right direction. ive used is a lot without any problems. just a idea. it has all the calculators in it.

Thanks alot man. so a 1.31mm HG would be around 8.6-8.65:1? Thats sounds perfectly safe to me. Maybe ill even have a faster spool and a little more power. Thanks again
