Hey fellow MK3 crew. I finally joined over to SM, and hope I can have a good time learning about MK3s here also. Hope I can be of help also.

For those that do not know me, I own a MK3 that is currently undergoing the long awaited 7MGE-7MGTE conversion. And here are some pics of my car.

When I get home, I'll start my build up page here also. Nice to meet everyone.

Well I do see that it is MK3 biased, so it probably will be better suited for me. I just never got around to getting an account here.

Welcome and enjoy. I remember back in the day when SM maybe had 3 or 4 active members signed on at once. Now, if there's less than 100 its a slow day.

WELCOME, Alex Smith! :) (Making a complete assumption that that is your name) ;)

I'm sure you'll find **Points at Supramania** us more helpful and welcoming than **flips off Supraforums** them. :D

No, seriously though. Nice car, looks like you've got a great base to work off of.
Good luck and hope all goes well with your GE>GTE swap!

Yes that is my name. Supraforums was the first place I started my supra affair, so it has kinda stuck with me. But I can already see that I like it here more. Sponsor forums for the MK3 is definitely FTW. Thanks for the luck, but I've got a pro workin on it for a great price. Thanks Jeff.

LOL, Kyle, your sig is FTL (Even though it looks good).

It looks like it says, "BLUE BY TUNN TURBO".

I was like, WTF is that?! :p

BLUE 89 TWIN TURBO makes a bit more sense. :D

*Alex* Yeah...Even though Supraforums has a bazillion members, (even though we still have like 5000+), It is a very comfy, community feeling that I never felt on Supraforums.

Supraforums...When I DO post there...I feel like I have to watch what I say or I might get banned. :nono:

And I agree with Kyle...Your car looks GREAT wingless...
Not only that, but your Supra pictures have......****the curves**** :icon_wink

Thanks for the comments about the wingless. I think it's the angle at which the pics are takin that make it look so well without a spoiler. As far as the body is concerned, I have not decided if I want to just paint it back to stock (There are a few dings and dints here and there, plus my passenger door was smashed where someone broke into it) or go with a full body-kit.

Sometimes I wish I could raise the front up Joe, but I am stuck with the Eibachs. It's got a nice stance, but I am thinking it may change a bit when I get the wheels aligned.

Want to sell your Eibachs? ;)

I'm getting ready to order a set right after I finish typing this. :)

As far as the stance goes...Most people I know with Eibach's get that stance to them...

Oh I knew what I was getting into when I ordered them. That's why I paired them with some konis.:biglaugh:

Thanks, but I am paying a professional to do the swap for me. He's done it a few times, and knows his way around MK3s better than most, so he is capable. What problems did you have with it? Not that I have the tools, but it seems pretty straight forward.
