the wire ripped out of the thing circled in red, i think its a sensor, what can i do to fix it, and will the car run fine without it?
also the thing circled in red should have two hoses running out of it, what are they for? :1zhelp:

Well, you could either dig the wire out of the rubber, unpin it and resolder it.(Which is what i had to do for one of those) Or..You could buy a whole new plug and repin it.
Im pretty sure the top plug is the bvsv though. You'll just have to buy a new one because it had 2 vacuum ports on it.

how do i get it off, and will everything run ok if i run it w/o it plugged in for a day or so? also what do the 2 vacuum lines run too?
To get the plug apart there should be a notch on the top end of the connector. Lift that metal conductor up and it you should be able to push it though.Boosted516;1054567 said:
As far as the bvsv goes, Ive yet to run one on any of my motors and have never had a problem....although on my current setup ive only got 4 vac lines
Pull the rubber part out first (around where the wire used to go through)
Easy to repin as the connector looks to be in good shape.
The BVSV needs to be replaced though...

The top item you broke is your BVSV ( Bi metal Vacuum switch Valve. ) the 2nd one is a easy fix just repin the plug there is a rubber part that seats in there take that out cut back some wire and sodder in a new wire, it's no big deal just take your time and you could be fine, If you need a BVSV I am sure you can get one, I even have one if you need one. You will need to get one though, it's not good for your car to run without one on it.

It was broken when i bought the car, but even if i bought a new one what do the vacuum lines run too? and what is the purpose of a bvsv?
