I have aproblem. Despit my caring for it. The bloch has rusted badly.

SHould I have the block reworked as in bored and stroked. Up grade my pistons, rods and cams. Would this be worth it??? Or should I just rebuild the damn thing myself and have the block reworked. I want flat head pistons.

I'm a bout to give up on this thing and that sucks because I want to see it run. Can I get some support here???

There shouldn't be any pitting but I am still thinking of a new ride anyhow. I am tired of it always being something with this car. I have had it a year nearly and have only put 3,500 miles on it.

And as agressive as the rust looks, it is porobably pitting. I'm thinkning sbaout parting it out unless someone wants to buy it outright. I have everything for it. It's just time for me to move onto a car that wnts to run and be driven I think I am going back to nissan, audi or porsche.

im located in louisville if you are near by i would come look at it for you the easiest thing to do is to take the block to a machine shop and see what they say. you probably can just deck the block and resurface the head and clean out the water channels and be ok just have a shop look at it
