HELP!

K guys I was out driving the supra and for a couple of seconds it kind of started stumbling and acts like I fouled a plug and them wam. It shut off , I tryed to start it and nothing. Enter the tow truck.... I got the car home and it turned out that I blew the efi fuse under the hood so after I replaced that the car fired up no problems. But it was still missing like it fouled a plug so I changed the plugs and the wires and the problem is still there.I tryed to drive it for a few miles but that did not help. All my settings on the maft pro are the same nothing has been changed... I also notice that there is quite the oil leak now when I start it so I will start working on that!

I checked for codes and nothing...
I also re checked all the maft pro wires, all is good there...


Any help would be great!

I had a very similar problem 10 years ago on my red car. I actually burned a valve. Yours sounds like a burned valve or ringland... Have you checked your coolant and oil for contamination?

Although, since your efi fuse blew, can you put the afm back in and run it stock?

So many things to check... also do a compression check

where are you leaking oil?

My new motor is almost done so Iam going to pull the motor out tomorrow!

I have checked and the oil and the coolant all seem fine so I dont know!

I dont have a stock afm anymore , sold the dam thing.

I did change the plugs(ngk coppers) and the looked ok , but since I have a box of thrity of them I figured I would swap any way.

As far as my oil leak I think it is the rear main seal.. Motor has less then 25k on it but I dont know!

do a compression check. I bet it's a burned valve.

You're lucky you got that new motor!

A new motor with a soon to be finished Ported + polished head with a valve job+ a full 4" turbo back set up coming! Should be nice! I just hate seeing the supra in pain!
