Alright well i picked up an mk111 7mge for 1000$ a couple weeks back and when its running it runs good, but it has a really unreliable start. i changed the oil and oil filter, put in ngk sparks and wires, changed the igniter and coil pack and switched to premium gas, and ran techron through it, The car seems to be carbon fouling, also sometimes it will start cold but it seems to hate starting hot, if it stalls or if you turn it off it wont start back up, its a rebuilt engine with only around 1500 miles on it. i ordered a new fuel filter which im waiting on now because it had been sitting for a while, but idk what the problem could be, can anyone help? also looking for the o2 sensor the slot where it goes is blocked off, and i cant find the connector for where to attach a new on to.

Sometimes they have to be cut to hook up a generic O-2, wire should be on the header side running from the wire harness that runs to the distributor area.

Not sure of the color, haven't had a stock one for a while. The plug for the wire is along the strut tower if I remember right. Maybe somebody can chime in and check their stock one.

fixed the igniter and one of my buddies came by and after running it for a while we realized its actually running really lean, he thinks its a vacuum leak and a bad filter, maybe even a bad fuel pump

The sensor on my 87na is brown wire. Yellow connectors. It should be noted that when hooking my fuel injectors back up there were some serious differences in what the wire colors were supposed to be and what they actually were. So, my colors may be off due to terrible re-wiring. The Haynes manual calls for a black wire. There is also another connector that comes off that same part of harness that attaches to what I believe is the MAF (metallic color between air filter box and hose). That part of the harness appears to go to the top side of engine and ends up on driver side somewhere. I hope that is a little help for you.
