Okay does anyone have a sound clip or a video of their MK3 with either the HKS Dragger exhaust or the Kakimoto? Send pics too if you have some good ones, that would be of help also.

I'm basically trying to decide between the Dragger, Blitz, or the Kakimoto. I've already heard the Blitz. Also if you have any suggestions or opinions, please feel free to speak up. Thanks in advance guys.

Well, exactly what are you wanting? Something quiet and crisp, something sort of loud and sounds good or just something that just sounds nasty? ;)

I have an old school Arospeed which is identical to the HKS Dragger...
It is really quiet to tell you the truth. I have a ported elbow, 3" DP, 3" custom piping and no cats...and it's still not loud enough for me. The only thing I can ever hear is turbo spool (which I'm not complainin' about, LOL)

Well i've heard the Dragger on a MKIV before and it was pretty quiet when you're just driving normally, but under heavy acceleration it had a deep throaty tone...not loud at all. I'm guessing the sound on the MKIII would be pretty close to the IV using the Dragger.

I'm a bit egotistical and I would perfer a more aggressive tone but I do like the overly big and aggressive looks of the Dragger...plus it ties in the whole overall ''old school'' classic look together. So I don't know. But it's either the possible aforementioned exhaust or i'll go custom. I also have an exhaust fetish so i'm pretty particular when it comes to that department. Haha.

Now the Blitz...good lord...those have a VERY aggressive sound to them, as i'm sure the Kakimoto would...

Anymore input guys?

I've heard people say the blitz isn't loud enough, but from what I understand it is pretty loud, but sounds amazing (that's what I'm getting) the hks super dragger for the mkiv is 3.75" piping if I'm correct. A friend of mine has it. It's not loud, but when he revs it or is under boost it's a really really good throaty deep sound. It's definately bad ass.

MelloYello got rid of it because it was TOO loud. There is such a thing especially when you have to put up with it for 1000 miles ;)

hpf goliath 4" FTW! actually mine has a custome 3" exhaust that i made, unfortunatly i still have stock dp and cats. they'll be gone soon enough. :evil2:

i too would like to hear sound clips though.

Yeah the HPF is pretty sick too!



And yeah...what about those sound clips?!? Lol.
