*edit* should have posted this on tech board sry
I'm using arp hardware(studs) installed everything per ARP instructions, I put all studs in hand tight w/ washers, then put all nuts on hand tight(used a socket wrench very carefully). Now comes the fun part, I'm using a greatneck "clickable" style torque wrench from the repair shop where I work(non automotive). Now after throughly reading the instructions for the torque wrench I proceeded to torque down each bolt per TSRM instructions thinking the wrench would "click" since thats EXACTLY what is says it would do...after googling click style torque wrench I find out that it doesn't make a "click"(wouldn't you think that means a f***ing noise)it just slightly slips.
So now that I have no idea what each bolt is torqued at should I:
1. Find a new torque wrench.
2. Untorque them to hand tight and carefully do it again now that I know how it works.
3. :naughty: Put a grenade in my engine bay and walk away(this sounds fun but too expensive.)
Thx guys
Ryan.
