Hey guys, I need help polishing my sawblades. I tried removing the old paint like everyone has said, but the old and corroded stock paint won't come off. I've tried everything, even badass industrial paint remover from Home Depot. :3d_frown: What can I do now to polish the wheels?

Aircraft stripper. Wear those thick rubber gloves form ace/pacific hardware. that will teach that tricky paint. Oh and dont get any on your skin as it will take it off. Ask me how I know.

Dude, I guarantee you aircraft stripper (trust me, I've used it) isn't as hardcore as the stuff I used, which is what I'm trying to tell you guys.

sand them with 240 then 320 then 600 then 1000 and polish with wool wheel with very abrasive compond then cut with diffrent wool wheel with finer compound or you can edge cut them but that is costly and takes much time.

Maybe post some pice of you sawblades? I can'y imagine the paint being that hardto get off...it only took about two minutes for aircraft remover to COMPLETELY eat through my paint...I hope you didn;t actually eat through the machined finish...

There's the old addage "You can't polish a turd!"
LOL sorry. I couldn't resist. Weren't some sawblades different than others? Some were not the mirror machined finish underneath?
