So first off I have been all over these fourms and the only thing that I see and keeps popping up is that ppl who do 5 speed swaps into auto cars keep the auto ecu and harness. Which I did not do I have the manual ecu and harness in my auto chassis 88 supra turbo all correct year with matching yellow plugs.

So here is where I need help. EVERYTHING in my car tests perfectly after fallowing my tsrm (Haines edition that you can get at auto zone) and I have no fuel what so ever my pump is not turning on at all and my open circuit relay is not clicking or turning on to then turn my fuel relay and so forth. My pump is good but not getting power at all.

Things that are working tho. It cranks for days but doesn't not start, have spark, everything is turning on except my pump. Please if anyone can help let me know I'm at the end of my second build and it's been bout one and a half years I am tried of the bald spots on my head from pulling my hair out lol!!!!!!!!!!!

Check for a plug by the fuse box. See my started threads list. Had same issue. I think its a square plug. That controls power to FP. using cell phone can't coy pics. Previous thread was something like " what's this wire"

Since no one is giving me any info on this wiring issue I have decided to do a 12v relay and fuse set up and splice into my ignition switch for turning the pump on.

So my new question before I do this tomorrow is... Since I will not be using the ecu for the pump and the ecu won't know if it's actually on will this affect my performance? Or hinder my rpm range cause it thinks it's not getting fuel

Just jumper the pins on the test block. I can't remeber what they are off hand but if you look in the lid of the little grey box on the intake it should have an Fp spot and jumper to the 12v source. If that turns on your fuel pump then you have another problem if not then you have missed a connection somewhere and you need to find. I hate adding parts to work around a problem. Check the fuel pressure 6v/12v relay on the passenger fender to make sure it is plugged in and getting power. If it worked before the swap then it should work after.

p.s. the ecu does not know if the fuel pump is on or not. It simply sends a signal to turn it on.

Thanks for the info but ive done all these tests before and nothing. Not even when I use my jumper. I was reading another forum a long time ago and this guy said its useless to use the manual trans ecu and harness cause it's missing one or two wire to the open relay for the fuel pump. So what I'm looking for now is a pin out for my 88 ecu if any one knows where to find one please let me know.

I like your name mighty al. My name is al too.

Just an update. I still could not find the wire and or wired I was missing on my m/t harness. So I went ahead with the 12v circuit with a relay used ignition switch to turn it on. Anyways it fired right up and now my supra, that hasn't ran in 3 years, is up and running!!!!!!!!!!!!

You checked the fuses but did you wiggle them?

When we built my friends 87 7mgte we went to start it but no fuel pressure at all. The pump REFUSED to come on but it would come on if you jumped B+ and FP. I even went as far as chasing wires and troubleshooting the ecu for the fuel pump.

Turned out to be a loose fuse in the kick panel on the drivers side was all the car needed. I kicked my own ass for about a week after that.
