Help!! Please lights wont stop going up and down.

im new to the site so how is everyone doing. anyways the problem is the motors for the headlights wont stop running. the retractor module under the dash was making noise. also you can take the key out and some of electronics will stay on like the safc. thanks to anybody who has any ideas on how to fix it. thank you

Mine did the same thing for a while. I rigged it up with some hot glue and that worked good for a while, but I've since replaced the whole assembly. It wasn't that hard to do. Good luck.

did it also do it when the car was off the only way i could stop it was disconnecting the motors for the lights or the battery. and what parts did you glue and replace. thanks for the reply

When ever youtube aproves it, i will post a video. It was pretty funny to just walk out to one of his headlights going crazy.

rn = redneck? My headlights did something like this too, I had the bulb out and wanted to see if the socket was getting voltage so i turned the lights on and they just started going up and down. And that reminds me i dont think i ever fixed that cause my car has head the battery disconnected since the HG blew and i started pulling it apart. lol.
