NOYFB!
Okay, this is really lame sounding, but I can't seem to figure out why my fog lights quit working. Bulbs are okay, wiring seems to be okay,only thing I can figure is either the relay, or the actual switch. Does anyone know how to visually check the switch to see if it's good? I have the foglight mod, but they just quit one day. Pissin' me off real bad!
Thanks;
Tom

Make sure you still have your power and ground source for the control side of the relay. A test light on both sides of the fog light switch will tell you if the switch works. So will an ohm meter.

How you like driving a stick?
Here's the entire schematic. I can't see it being too dificult to get them back online.

Did you modify the circuit to allow the fogs to be on without the headlights?
The first thing I would check would be voltage at pin 5 of the foglight switch with the headlights on, plug E in the diagram below. With the foglight switch on, it should send current to pin 4 on the same plug. From there, the current flows to pin 1 of the diode (LED) on the switch. That's plug G below. If there is no voltage at the switch, I would bet on a fried coil in the relay. Current flows from the headlights into the fog light relay, terminal 1 of plug F. It should flow internally through the coil to terminal 3 of plug F. If the Switch is not getting voltage, that's why.

Should there be voltage to each of the terminals above, the problem would be ground related, or relay related.
Hope this helps

Gonna' get back on it tonight, using your schematic. It is not the switch, and it's not the relay, so it's gotta' be just a wire grounding out somewhere, or broken. Thanks for your help, it is appreciated. As for the 5-speed, I freakin' love it!:love: Auto's are gay! Unless you want a pure drag race car, and are willing to swap in the TH400, they (auto trans.) are the most digusting thing you could do to a Supra( IMHO) LOL!:biglaugh:My car now has that edgy "Sports car" feel to it, with the addition of my new Spec clutch. Can't wait to upgrade the fuel and get some tuning implements on it.
See ya Saturday!

i rewired my fogs to a separate 30A relay. i used heavier gauge wire, and run 100w bulbs in there. :) the only thing that i have to do now, is wire the stock switch so it still lights up. :)

By saying it's not the switch or the relay, you mean that you have power to both of them, and the relay is sending power to the fogs, but the fogs aren't getting the power?

We totally forgot about it. We just moved a little further south, had our Vigor stolen by navy federal credit union, and have been waiting a week for our car cover to show up. Anyway, we were thinking about going to the coast, Centralia sounds nicer...
