I'm getting a 1987 turbo toyota supra soon and it doesn't run. It cranks up though. I need to know if there is anyone around or in St. Petersburg that might be able to help if I can't figure out the problem. The guy won't let me work on it until I buy it. I should have it sometime this coming week. Any help would be much appreciated. This forum rocks :icon_evil

You are in a very Supra rich area. I'm sure you can find help there. Stick with this forum, and you will meet several owners in your area.
It cranks up and stalls?? or it cranks up and sits at an idle but dies when you hit the gas? Hope your not paying too much..
It justs cranks. It doesn't stall. At least I don't think it does. I needs all the vacuum lines replaced cause there all bad. Its also missing the snorkel pipe the one that goes from the throttle body to the intercooler. Could this be a reason why it won't start? It smells like gas when I try to start it.
