I want to keep the stock GE electronics, because I'm a little low on cash and time...(senior Project).... But Im lookin to run like 6-9psi...
I have most of the hardware, that i need to hook up the turbo (turbo, IC, Piping, manifold, dp, etc...) but after its bolted and ready to fire......

Can I keep my stock 315?cc injectors? Do I need a rising rate fuel pressure regulator? How about a S-AFC? Anything else?...Can I go without?

I'd imagine you have to run the 440cc injectors to help feed your motor the fuel it will need to run properly with the turbo. Do you have the turbo f/p regulator. If you need these items I will basicaly give them to you I'll be swapping out all those parts within the next month. You should add more detail to what you have and exactly what your doing, as far as set up...are you keeping the stock 7mge and bolting the turbo on??? Later hope any of this helps. Tejon

Before I did the complete gte electronic swap to mine, I ran it on 8 psi with 440cc injectors on the ge motor and electronics with an afc and had no problems. You should be fine using the ge electronics, but make sure you get an afc so you can tune it a little.

I plan on doing the same thing over winter. tubbie what is an afc? I'm sure that it will adjust fuel or something b/c that is fairly crucial. Do you think I should change my headgasket to a metal one? I'm not planning on going overboard with boost, but I want to kill 'stangs and other "fast" cars. If you guys have any pointers on what to do or what to expect that would be great!
Thanks all!

So far, I've put on the gte fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator, which is on the fuel rail,,,,,,right? I have all the turbo components, but no afc... I have a few gte parts, such as the coil packs, but i believe i need the gte ecu for that, so im avoiding that... But I did hear from a toyota specialist that i can stick with the 315?cc injectors, and he mentioned that i need a rising rate fuel pressure regulator, and afc. to control the fuel during boost situations.... I'm just trying to figure these things out... I think I'm just going to go with the AfC, but thats gunna put a hole in my wallet!:icon_mad: I'll let you all know how everything goes!

When I originally did my na/t conversion I used ge electronics (but soon switched to gte electronics) and had no problems but I ran 440 injectors.

I don't know that the 315's won't work but...just about the worse thing you can do to a motor is starve it for fuel under boost.

If you decide to get the 440's (and I think that would be the smartest thing to do) remember they are low impedence injectors and if your supra is 89 n/a or newer you are set up for high impedence injectors and must run resistors to lower the impedence to suit the bigger injectors.

And definitely get a safc. Good luck
