Here's the deal- I've been searching all over the net, including this forum and a few others, and I can't find any info that helps me. I'm looking for a cable/tool/whatever the proper term would be for something that would allow me to hook up the toyota OBD1 diagnostic port in either of my cars to a laptop, and allow me to monitor all the diagnostic signals both in real time as well as do some data logging.

I've found plenty of handheld scanners, but I want a real time readout on my laptop screen in car of RPM, Timing, Throttle Position, Speed, Coolant temp, Closed Loop On/Off, EFI fuel trim, etc, etc. Basically any information the sensors/ECU can give me.

Please tell me that such a thing exists, and tell me where to find it?

It's expensive but I'd just get a stinger, then you could not only read all those and more but you could tune it. If tuned well you can get a lot of power off the stock setup, at least so stinger says.

My buddy uses it on his 2JZ NA-T swap he just did on his MK3

I eventually plan on running aftermarket ECU's but I was really looking for something that I can plug into my supra or my 93 SC400 just to see what info the stock ECU gives me. I would love to tune, but that's a little bit down the road money-wise.
