Hey guys, i need some help with which power steering line goes where. If someone can help me out that would be great. Here is a picture of the lines and pump:

First photo is of the two lines coming from the rack, Im assuming one of these goes to the pump and the other to the return side of the resivoir? If so which one goes to which?

Second is the pump. Im assuming one of these ports would go to the rack and the other is the suction side of the resivoir?

The high pressure line on the rack (the one without the hose clamp...crimped connection) goes to the banjo bolt / high pressure output of the pump. The low pressure line on the rack (hose clamp) goes to the return on the reservoir. The suction line on the pump (also low pressure) goes to the feed connection (probably the lowest point, possibly filtered internally) on the reservoir.

Hope that helps.

Looking at your pictures....is the high pressure line on the rack (as it converts to metal tube near the banjo bolt) kinked in half?? Might just be the camera angle.

If it is, you need a new high pressure line. Just bending it back won't work...once the tube is kinked, you're all done.

Its just the camera angle, thanks for the help! Just to clarify, the Suction side of the pump (relative to the picture) is the upper port that doesnt have a fitting in it right now correct?

Also, I noticed on the tsrm, that there was 2 hoses that come off the lower fitting? What is that second hose?

Threaded hydraulic connections are typically pressure (banjo bolts, etc) , while just hose barbs which require a simple hose clamp would be suction / return (low pressure).
