A lifted Chevy cut a corner too close in the parking lot and his tire rubbed against the corner of my front bumper. Any suggestions on how to get rubber off of paint?

What compounds would you guys use? I've got a powerball but can also get a buffer if needed.

Try M-1. I have used it on just about everything to remove scuff marks etc.
Should be able to buy it at Home Depot. Otherwise you could call the company
The Jomaps Co., 6500 Industrial Way, Alpharetta, Ga 30004 (770)442-8808.
M-1 The professionals choice---Safely removes dried latex paint, crayon,
candle wax, marker, glue, adhesives, paper labels, graffiti, chewing gum, tar,
grease, mastic, soap scum, lipstick, pine sap, liquid paper, scuff and skid marks.

will acetone hurt the paint?

i know most of this stuff is going to take the wax right off down to bare paint but i'm not sure if the acetone will be too harsh.

thanks for the tips!
