That's the rubber in the center bearing...I would not use it. The DS will shake, clunk, etc.

Well, you could always try the one you have...depends on what you think your time is worth if you have to drop the DS again and replace it anyway.

If it were me, I wouldn't use it.

2jz swap, so I need something that isnt going to fail, I dont want to replace the DS again. The other DS is from the W58. So it wont mount up with the R154.

instead of spending that kind of money on a center bearing i would go with a straight drive-shaft... i know titan makes one but i cant think of anyone else who makes them. there around $380.00

Shaftmasters is where I was gonna buy from but, I have completely turned away from a 1 peice alum.

Mario: Buy a fresh centre bearing have the rear section welded and replace the Uni joints......

So $200 + welding + uni joints. By that time I could have bought a 2 piece from shaftmasters for $650...I just feel really fucked right now as my harness is coming in soon and I thought I had everything ready, and now this...Just not going to throw any names...

Or you could drop the coin on an aluminum rear, 2 piece DS that includes new u-joints and a new center bearing:

http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62442

A lot of the stock drive shafts are out of phase due to the rubber twisting up in the rear section.

Well the W58 one I pulled is perfect. and it has 200k miles on it...

This just really pisses me off.

I come from a land down under
Mario: Please trust me on this it's one of the very last places you cut corners on in a build, if it's not right it's will destroy the entire complexion of the finished car.

When installed it "should" be invisible and the only way you know it's there is the car moves under it's own power.

That makes the price $525 + shipping.
If you're not going the single piece route...this is an outstanding price, especially since it has new u-joints and a new center bearing.

BTW - a DS may look perfect, but the rubber inside the aft section can be all crapped up. You'll never know it till it runs. That's one of the advantages of the above ShaftMasters...the aft section is replaced with a 1 piece aluminum tube.
