Help- clutch issues

i have a 92 ..... i think my clutch is gone but i really wanna make sure.. the car doesnt grab as well as it should.. when i put it in first it grabs at like 1500 rpm and when i shift into 2nd it like staggers a little... thanks..

i'm a bit confused, so please forgive me... it sounds like you're just revving the motor too much before you let out on the clutch. (that or you have a dead TPS/malfunctioning ISC) and it's idling too high.

we need a bit more information to help you.

what does the car idle at?
how far off the floor does the clutch grab?
if you depress the clutch while you're stopped, and put the car in gear, is the a lot of resistance?
