Okay so my friend has a 88 1jzgte, basic mods aftermarket I/C, Hard pipes, Greddy BOV, AVCR etc. He's runnin 14 psi, w/ no upgraded injectors, turbos...

He put an Aeromotive FRP w/ ss lines on and he would hit a spudering/bogging spot at 3100rpm-3300rpm then evrything would smooth out and be fine. If you powerd through the RPM's you'd barley even feel it at all, like it wasn't even there.

We put the stock FPR back on and Bam! problem goes away. Any help on this problem please?

sounds like the AFPR the spring is problably worn is my best guess
Check if fuel pressure climbs on the aeromotive by free reving it
if not, theres your problem.

Hey J. What is the fuel pressure set at? If you search this you will see it's a common problem, same FPR, Aeromotive, from DM, with the kit. Same RPM range.

FP may be too low. Like I said, common, exact same symptoms. Could be the MAP too, but since it runs fine with the stock FPR I wouldn't think so.

FP Varied from 38 to 45 with same symptoms.

Better gas mileage with AFPR, (300ish) vs (250) with stock regulator.
