help afpr questions

im about to install my afpr and i wanted to know

1. do i need to put something on the threads i.e teflon tape or something like that

2. what is a good stock fuel pressure to set for now ill adjust at dyno


im going to the dyno tomorrow and see what the soup lays down heres is a list of mods:
k&n fipk
ddp w/ 3in exhaust no cats
hardpipes with greddy rs
spec stage 3
11lb chrome molly flywheel
apfr
walbro
lex afm
safc 2
hks evc 4
and ill probably set boost at low 8-9 psi and hi 14.7:evil2:

i believe thats it what numbers do you guys think it ll lay down ....feel free to post thanks

Use Teflon paste on the threads mating to the fuel rail and AFPR...on the upper half of the threads...you don't want paste getting into the rail. If you are using AN fittings to attach the hose to the fitting in the rail and AFPR, you do not want to use any paste on the AN thread sides.

I use 25-27 psi vac on at idle, but that is with a Lex/550 combo. Are you using a Lex AFM w/ stock injectors?

yeah im gonna use the stock injectors . wel i went to the dyno today but there were couple of cars in front more like 6 or8 so im gonna head out tomorrow morning so i can get it tuned...what numbers should i expect with my mods...

Be very careful about going lean with a Lex AFM and stock injectors...detonation will ruin your whole day ;)
