Well, I've been coming to this site on and off for about a year and I finally decided to become a member! In may of 2009, I became a proud owner of a 1989 Supra Turbo. There's kind of an interesting story on how I obtained the car. I was cruising around on craigslist and I found this beautiful MK3 for sale for $300. So I emailed him and got a time set up to go see the car. I fell in love with it immediately. Here's the kicker. When I got home, I had an email from the guy that stated "If I can get the car out of his driveway that day, he would sell the car to me for $150. SOLD!!!!! I know, you guys are probably thinking "Why is the car so cheap!?". Well, the motor had thrown a rod... So, over the past 2 years, I've been getting parts tracked down. Now, I am finally ready to fix it up! Thanks to my tax return of course:icon_bigg

Here are a few pics of my car:

Thanks! I'm going to need all the luck I can get! I went in buying this car not knowing the true value of the car. And like you said, I could rip off the tail lights and get my money back! I think it's going to be a fun project car.
