...I should make some sort of introduction. After much lurking on Supra for sale boards, I finally purchased a mk3 recently, from half-way across the country, to become a Supra owner (again). I learned to drive a standard transmission in an '80 Supra, and owned an '85 for several years, so I was bound to come back into the fold at some point. I have rescued a write-me-a-ticket Red '90 from almost-certain part-out in the PNW, making it a Texas car in the D/FW area.
However, the car and I are still in significant danger (noob with little clue and unfinished mods, etc.), so I would welcome hearing from fellow owners and I am definitely looking for recommendations for professional help in the area (for the car, too). But seriously, the car needs exhaust work, some general going-over, tuning, an after market alarm system, etc., so let me hear from you if you're in the area (with suggestions or just to say hello, howdy if you're really local...).
So that's Post #1. More to follow (pics, posting rules violations, stupid noob questions, etc.). -B.
