Hello guys and gals. My name is Bret, I'm in Michigan, on the east side. I picked up a 89 Supra a few weeks ago for $600 for a project car. Damn kids busted out 5 out of 6 windows about a week before i bought it. Its a 5speed turbo Targa top. No rust besides a little surface rust around the rear wheel wells.

Bah, damn kids... One hell of a deal though if you can find a salvage car to get the windows off of. Is it mechanically in good shape?

what part of michigan you from? i know a junk yard that has like 3 mk3's with all the windows still.

I am about 20 min north of detroit. And the only junkyard i know of has no supras.

And mechanically....i think it might have a BHG. But that doesnt surprise me.

the junkyard i know is called beasley's auto they deal in only imports so they have 240's, rx-7's, supra's all that i've been through there quite a bit lol. they are in holly, mi on holly rd.

ill have to go check that place out. i need a few things, but i really dont want to order them. be easier to pick up at a junkyard for now. Just to get her running so i can start and see exactly what the problem is.

the last time i was there, there were only n/a's and 1 turbo but that one's been there for years (don't know why they didn't crush it yet) the guy wrapped the car around a tree and survived (luckily). not sure if they still have the turbo engine or not but i know they pulled it. well good luck with everything.
