Hello you all,

I am a new to "Toyota Scene," and I just acquired a 91 Supra Turbo 7MGTE with a CT26 Turbo on board. I traded my motorcycle for her. She's an auto, but I have plans on switching to a manual tranny - r154. Before owning my first MK3, I have had nothing but Hondas - please help educate me with this new endeavour :naughty:. Hit me up if you are ever in South Texas - Rio Grande Valley :icon_bigg

lol, thank god it's almost tax return - and thanks man!!!

Speaking of which, I posted on the wanted section. I need the following Driver a-pillar molding, passenger foglight, driver rear taillight/lamp.

Maybe I should start buying Lotto tickets, lol.

Not a bad trade at all. Car looks straight and good.

A few recommendations if you don't mind.

Repair/fix/cleanup/cover all exposed wires in the engine bay. These are old wires and can fray and break off as well as cause a fire hazard. It will make your engine bay look clean and make it safer as well.

Tighten all couplers from the turbo to the intercooler to the throttle body to make sure nothing leaks under boost.

Replace those heater hoses and the breather hoses.

Replace that red radio trim with a black/stock colored one and your car will look a lot nicer inside.

otherwise, a nice claybar and wax job should do it on the outside.

Ohh my god I'm busted (vtec at heart), lol. No, it's for the fluidyne fans... Actually it's pretty funny, that was my first question to the previous owner.

Thanks for the recommendations... All recommendations and constructive criticisms (criticisms in general) are always welcome. I got her registered and inspected yesterday. Washed and polished her, and I strated cleaning up the wiring - zip tied, electrical tape, rerouted and cleaned up certain areas. I'm finding a good amount of sensor that are unhooked - which some are the guages on the pod that are not functional, and others, I have no idea what they are for.

Ohh yeah I definitely agree with removing the red interior pieces - it looks really "riced-out" status post watching a certain late 90's movie (F & F), lol. I want to return her to as stock looking interior and exterior wise. Funny thing is she might have won 90's car shows - now stock / oem is the "popular thing to do." I just hope it doesn't return to the "flashy phase" in the future, lol.

I'm already going to apologize in advance to SM because I might end up being the annoying newbie - asking a lot of questions and such...:1zhelp:

Be sure to watch the part-out threads. Most people who have parts to sell don't check the wanted section.

Welcome to the mania from a fellow ex-honda owner. The supra will be both the best and worst decision you ever made lol. No worries about bein a newb, it seems to me like you at least have a clue. Recently we seem to have had a bit of an influx of people with NFI, I dont think your one of them.

Thanks man... Hey lewis, I'm sure you still remember how honda pedals feel. Is there a way to soften up the gas and brake pedals / make them more responsive or is that a Supra / Toyota thing. Maybe I just gotta get used to them...

My supra had all sorts of issues and now it sits and does nothing, but when it did run something was off with the gas pedal and I never addressed it. I had driven many toyota trucks which have a very similar pedal setup to so I was already used to it. You will just get used to it. But yes, I do remember the honda pedal feel. I missed the honda pedal feel every time I drove my jetta, which is now gone, and I cant say I miss it too much.
