Hello. Recently acquired a 88mk3 turbo. Was sitting for 3 years. Had the ride towed to my shop(garage). Buddy said it had a blown head gasket. So i replaced plugs. Charged battery. Started right up. Threw a 31 code so i replaced the afm with a known good one. now runs n idles like a champ. Haven't tested it On the road yet. Changed the thermostat. What kind of signs should Inge looking for if it has a BHG?

Milky brown sludge under the Oil cap, coolant in the pan, if you're concerned grab a test kit from Napa and check for combustion gasses in the coolant.
