Howdy y'all. I'm half in the market for a MKIII once my current car is sold. A friend of mine (Nashman) turned me onto this site to show me what the potential of the MKIII platform is. I must say, I'm pretty impressed. I currently own a Saturn SC2, and in that community, the general theme has two heads: No one makes stuff for us, boo hoo hoo, or no one makes stuff for us, let's rice these things out! There are a few die hards who have put in the time and effort to get huge results from the little car that could, but they are few and far between. There effort almost always goes unsung, and as such the desire to do anything with their knowledge is minimal.
From what I've read here so far, you guys seem to all pool knowledge very well in an effort to further the breed, and some pretty damn cool products seem to have been born (Suprastick?!?! SWEET -- if you have to have an auto) and some very crafty, inexpensive fixes seem to exist for all manner of problems associated with aging vehicles.
I'm happy to have found this site, and may very well pursue the Turbo Supra for a next car.
