Hi, I am new just here for an Intro. I live in Washington, I am military, and I was struck with the Automotive bug and have been for a long time. I Finally came across a 1987 Supra Mid Night Blue. It was neglect and wasnt running at the time. The Other owner was a Friend of a Friend who I strongly believe neglected the car pretty bad, body is in pretty nice shape for the age, clear coat was peeling bad on the roof, and rust on the hatch from the spoiler holes leaking.

My First step was to fix the Radiator that had a cracked neck and was pulling air in and making the car spew out the coolant.

Second step was to get this SOB running. So i did just that, had to sort threw all the hacked up wiring and came of find a TPS wire grounded out (shorted) and then later found out the Fuel pump was shot, so upgraded to a 255.

Now the car is running and i decided to fix the paint that was peeling, i went sanded it down smoothed it out and went with a cool flat black two tone style.

After that I keep it simple, got a NRG hub replaced the nasty stock steering wheel that was falling apart as you drove it, then dropped it on Stance Coilover and found a nice set ouf wheels, 18x9 front, 18x10 rear.

After driving it for about 500 miles, the 7MGTE is on its last leg i think, last night it had started a very very slight Tick just in the window of 1.8k and 2.4k any where else it was not noticable, now it ticks at idle to 2.4k. So i stuck in the garage and put it on the lift here at the casa. I am planning on doing a 1jz Swap and just going single turbo and keeping it single, Also going to run a 2jz head for the RPMs, as this is going to be a drift car, no worries on the steering angle, I am working out the kinks to run a totally different steering rack!!
