Hello everyone. According the the information bar i have been a member here for 167 days and a floater for much longer than that. I love this site and all the great info its packed with.

A little(or a lot) about myself
Im 21 years old and i am a Tech at Wesley Chapel Toyota. I love all Toyotas vehicles(from Echos to LS460's) and am Toyota down to the core. Ive owned 10 Toyotas now mostly old school TE's(and an MA46) but i do DD an 05 Corolla CE(41mpg is awesome). My first car is what brings me to this forum. Its my 82 Corolla Hardtop. Starting life with a 3TC and being completely stock when i bought it the car has been transformed from a horrible multicolored jallopy, to clean DD, to mildly built 3TC, to its Current form of 1JZGTE Corolla. I am currently trying to finish it within the next 30 days. Its going to be a 98% Stock 1JZGTE, R154, 86 Toyota 2wd 1 Ton pickup G code rear axle with Mk3 LSD. All in a car that weighs about 2300 lbs with a 1JZ in it.

Thats about it.

Thanks Mike

Here are some pics of the process

As you can see a 1JZ is made to fit in a Corolla as it sits right on top of the factory Mount brackets

Mike, at one point my MKIII was 2 shades of black, red, and gay blue. It looked like it got into a fight and won :) Very nice project. We want more pics, especially high quality ones (sorry, cell phone pics don't count). And welcome to the forum btw.

Yes more pics will be coming soon. MY goal is to have the car running and driving in 30 days.

Ill try and get pics up tomorrow or Sunday.

Monday my rear ends are going to the chassis shop so i can have the brackets cut off the AE86 rear(same rear as TE72 except with sway bar brackets) and welded on the Toyota Truck rear and that will be it for the rear end for now at least.

Thanks for the welcome. Stay Tuned.

Yup. You guys got the 3 Door wagon which we only got for the 71-74 model though. You have the T-18 with the 13T(same basic thing as 3TC with weird head), sedans and wagons.

I love my Hardtop. Ive owned 3 including the 2 up top. And ive owned 2 sports Coupes as well. I dont believe you got those either

Welcome to SM man, sorry if I jacked what might have been your preferred screen name haha... Looks pretty sweet, I never imagined an I6 would have fit under the hood of my old 'rolla, so I was actually looking into v8's to swap in :)

Anyway, would love to see some pictures of the car from all eras, don't be shy to show off something that isn't perfect! You should have SEEN my Corolla when I owned it... ;)
