Heater wiring

I have looked at the wiring diagrams of a 90 7MGTE but am pretty sure they are different to the 7MGE 1986.5. I am wondering where the two wires connected to the VSV run. My heater doesnt work but there is no signal getting to the vsv so i need to figure out where it gets signal from in order to fix. All help appreciated

edit: no one knows the answer to this?

i have by passed the vsv and replaced the heater tap with a new one. there is hot water passing though the tap into the fire wall and back out into the engine but no hot air out of the vents?

pease help

I don't have a diagram to look at, but would at least trace/follow those wires into the dash and then from there. I did think that there was a "heater" circuit breaker. I dunno if it's located in the passenger kickpanel or the other. I believe you just have to stick a needle/paperclip into the "obvious" hole to reset it. Maybe someone else can chime in, since I really don't remember much about it.

i know where circuit breaker is. Fuse is fine but i will reset circuit breaker this morning and see if that makes any difference. Wires run in behind the housing for the heater. Uber hard to trace from there :(

Will post to let u guys know if it works or not

OK have half of my dash out now and am still having problems with air con and heater. pulled area out with air con condenser out and cleaned. has good air flow though the system but i can see the door that opens to let the air go though the heater core and i can not get it to open.

Any ideas?

maybe the little motor for it burned out? see if it's getting voltage.
