ok on my new 86.5 when you start the car and let it get warmed up adn try to turn on the heat its hot for like 2 seconds the gets cool again! is this my core? or something else?

seems like your heater vacuum valve is going bad. just by pass it. by connecting a vaccum hose line from your intake manifold to it directly.

do you have a pic of what exactly your talikng about? cuz when i changed my plugs and wires the little piece on the thermostat housing broke, ya know the piece called bvsv or something is that the prob?

so how do i bypass it exactly?

take the vacuum hose from the bottom of the VSV and move it to the one on the top. loop your other vacuum line from the top back
