heater hoses

does anyone have pics of there heater hoses from a 7mge cuz one of mine is blocked off and cant seem to figure out where it goes.

are you talking about the pipe on the back of the block by the exhaust manifold?

yeah there are two but the lower one looks like it has been cut and blocked off. im guessing the core may be bad. but just trying to figure out exactly where it goes

so then only one is supposed to be hooked up right and the other just serves really no purpose?

Yeah, it is for the RHD version IIRC.

what happens if you T the hose and hook this one up? More cooling flow? *crosses fingers*

"T" what hose? This nipple is from the same pipe that is on the other side of the motor, for the heater core return. Joining it to the heater core sending hose, you would be bypassing the core and putting hot coolant right back into the block, this would not be good. The stock set up is designed so the coolant that is cooled off from going through the core will go back into the block.
