heater fan and motor

Well finally got the heater fan and motor out. found out that the brushing inside are toasted along with other things being worn out. So on thursday I decide That I would go to the wrecking yard and mabye just pick up a new heater fan and motor. One quick question though are the fans and motor interchanchangable for all years(1986.5-1992) and does the turbo and N/a interchangable as well. thnx guys.

Turbo/na will interchange=same. Years might not interchange, as some motors on some toyotas were updated (made better) as time went on. I remember installing some under recall/warranty, but can't remember if any were on supras.

You can call the dealer and get the part# for your car, then ask what other years and models (corrolla, etc) that have the same #. Easier to find a used one that way.

hmm guess i will have to do some more phoining today. If its not a broken part that im working on the car its im on the phone calling around for parts *sigh*
