Is it possible to bypass the hard coolant line under my exhaust manifold
that run to the back of the engine to the heater core? i basicly wana block it off like an Egr Block off plate. If any one has ant info i would greatly appreciate the info
It's possible, sure. It wouldn't be easy, and you would lose your heater and throttle body coolant, but in theory you can live without both if you're looking to pull the heater core for, say, weight savings in a drag car.
O, forgot about the other side! Sorry i meant to plug the hose lol but that would be... raggedy looking of course, or you could use a coupling to run the right side to the left?
That theory is not worth the effort...and it won't make any difference as far as keeping the engine cooler. Not to mention you'll have no heat. If your heater core was leaking I could see the point in removing it.
In fact, you are reducing the total capacity of the system by removing the volume of coolant. When a car over heats, turning the heater on full blast aids the system in removing the excess heat.
