I noticed at one point the heater core on our 90T was leaking, b/c the carpet by the passenger's feet is stained green. And I also noticed that someone bypassed it. So we have no heater. Not like it really matters in FL,... i just like things done right. Exactly how hard is it to replace the Heater core in a mk3? I know in a MK2 it's a nightmare. Debating leaving it bypassed.

the second time i did mine, it only took me like an hour and a half, heh. removing the dash is super simple. DONT REMOVE THE STEERING WHEEL! there are two bolts on the underside of the column that you can take out, and let the wheel drop onto the driver's seat. then the dash will have enough room to clear the steering wheel.
