Heater control valve squealing/squeaking?

My heater control valve as of late has been making the squeaking nose (well it sounds like it comes from the heater valve area) and it's only when the RPM's are above idle. When I'm say driving around the neighborhood, the noise is loud, but once I'm on the freeway/highway it stops. It was also leaking so slightly, so I replaced it. Problem is, the previous symptoms are still there. I replaced the valve and burped it in my driveway, there was enough slope to burp it I think, I might have to do it again, because it's pretty sloshy behind the dash. What do you guys think the problem could be?

The waterfall, plus the squealing I've mentioned. It's pretty audible. I burped the system for about 20 minutes after putting in the heater core I bought from you. Maybe I need to actually jack up the front of the car and re-burp it?

What exactly does the squealing sound like? It sounds like it could be a vacuum leak.

And for the waterfall/air in the system...if your cooling system is healthy and working properly, it will purge itself over about a week. You have to keep taking the rad. cap off and adding coolant until the level doesn't drop anymore.

I would pressure test the system if that doesn't happen.

It sounds like a liquid squeaking. It doesn't sound like a vacuum leak. I'll drive it for a few more days and see if it fixes itself.

You guys think it could be my speedo cable? I wasn't aware that they made much squealing, but my speedo needle is rather wobbly, so I don't know. :dunno:

None of your fucking business
I'm having the same issue with my 89NA. I'm getting the occasional squeaking noise. I've tried a couple different heatervalves and no luck. I just got a 3rd to try... I also tried a different Climate control. Nothing has changed...

Good to know I'm not the only one with this problem. If you can figure out what it is, let me know, I'd greatly appreciate it.
