Does the ct26 heat shield work with the Lipp Boss series turbos?
Does the boss turbos have the studs for a direct fit/mount of the heat shield?

Well, it just so happens I am in the process of installing one, so lets find out...

The turbo has one stud, the elbow has another, so two out of three are there.

One hole in the heat sheild will have to be redrilled/enlarged, as it doesn't quite line up exactly.

The heat sheild covers one of the oil and one of the water feed lines, so it will need to be cut to clear the lines.

Also, there's no place for the dipsticks upper mount, so there's another little fab project to complete the install.

Other than those minor adjustments, it looks like it should work great.

Thanks for the reply.
hmmm, well I have a bic dp so theres no stud there like in your elbow.
For the stud on the turbo, is that for the support bar?
Could use that stud to secure both I guess.

Also, what stage/trim did you get?

I'm leaning towards the stage 4 or 5 GTS GT61.

The boss jr has no studs for the shield. The LIPP elbow has one, and you can put it on there, but it will move around a bit even when clamped down.

My shield is in place on my Boss Jr. I just don't have it secure like stock. It is on the stud on the SS LIPP elbow. It does fit, you just have to fab something to hold it. Just like the dipstick tube. On a side note, at low boost on 13 psi, my car runs really strong. I have the 57, because I thought the 60-1 would be over the top for what I wanted on my street car.
