Before my coolant change, I feel that the heat was noticibly more hot than after my coolant change. The heat does get warm but not as before. I don't know when the last time coolant was flushed but the coolant was not coolant color like. i.e - dirty-ish, darker green color, not as clear, cloudy coolant I guess.

I bought prestone extended antifreeze, ran water thru the system till it got cleaner then pretty much added the coolant mixture.

My question is that if there is anything that might be going on with the car with cooler heat or is it just normal that the car runs cooler, so cooler heat?

Feel you're inlet and outlet hoses. With the engine at operating temp (190-200) you should barely be able to hold on to the inlet hose. If the core is not partially plugged, the outlet should be pretty hot also, just not as much. Inlet vacuum valve open all the way? Is the engine reaching operating temp? Possible air bound, or oh no the starting of a BHG. I hope not.
