are the non-turbo and turbo heads different? i have both but i sent the one off the n/a to get resurfaced..... man i hope there the same!:aigo:

The head itself is the same turbo or NA.

One of the cams are different. and let me tell you know,!!! FROM EXPERIENCE you want the TURBO CAMS... I foolishly swapped cams and lost lots of top end power for gaining some low end power (unuseable in my opinion)

thanks! yeah that was with the crower cams.... that was the run when i frist started hearing the knock when i shifted into 4th gear... the very next run it got real loud and only ran a 14.01... but i still beat the srt4:evil2:

yep..stock ct-26. with the ge cams i ran a 13.98 at 101.35mph..haha had to dig up the slips got me curious.

right on yah i guesstimated mine right around there; and got the same plans to get a gte block/go forged internals and forget the piston squirters when my setup shits the bed, you going gte block i take it?

yeah im going 7mgte block... its in the shop right now having it bored out to 84mm. iv got iron eagle rods, brc forged pistons, driftmotion oil pump, egr & j-tube block off and all kinds of little things going on the new engine. whats wrong with the oil squirters? why would you get rid of them??:1zhelp:

you running a standalone or jdm ecu with the egr blocked off?
i dont think theres anything wrong with them, but the Turbo 'A' race cars ran GE blocks with forged internals to take the heat, so i've read. you gotta wonder why...??

oohh....i didnt know that. im getting an aem standalone. the shop down the street from me said they can dyno tune it for me.. im hoping for the best because iv seen some really good tuned car come out and some that only gained like 2hp.

it lasted about 1 1/2 years it went just over 11,000miles in that time.. i didnt drive it every day but at least 3 times a week. i drove it decently hard now i didnt floor it off of every stop light but if there was a 135i or or an old muscle car....someting kinda quick evo's. i wouldnt just sit their and watch it drive off!:biglaugh:
