head light question

my driver headlight wont come up. the fuse is good and the other one works fine. the light doesnt come on at all. it worked before i switched motors ecu and the harness. any ideas????? cant drive with out my lights

Are you sure the motor for the headlight works?

The thing that has me is that your light doesn't even come on which leads me to believe it's all connected to the switch.

If you figure out what it is, I'd be interested to know what the culprit was.

You probably aren't getting any voltage TOO the headlight. If you changed harness, and thats when problem started, then check for juice at headlight bulb connection, then work your way back from there. Could be bad connections, or a broken wire in new harness. Check grounds (the over-looked wiring).

i put my 89.5 harness in it. and i think it has a extra plug. b/c the lights works. but why would that one pop up and the light not work?

ok traced it back all the way to the fues and am not getting power there. what could be causing this? and where is the headlight relay?

i switched the relay, the fuse box, even the switch itself. and still nothing. i didnt think the wiring harness would have any thing to do with that. but somthing is really not right
