if ur doin a mild bolt-on build or a stock 7m, 1.4 would be fine. if ur doin a complete build, which it sounds like u are, get a 2.0. ive personaly used both tms gaskets and have no complaints. GET YOU CYLINDER HEAD CHECKED!!!!

according to titan themselves, titan contracts cometic to make all of there head gaskets so basically they are the same gasket. as for thickness- 1.4mm would be fine for mild boost or stock bottom end. for heavy mods or a built engine, u can't beat a 2.0mm. according to stillen a 2.0mm would lower compression down to about 7.8:1 on a stock 7m- which means more boost can be safely ran. ive personally used both (i swear by tms head gaskets), just a matter of how much power you are planning to make. but u should definitely get the head checked while its off.

i got this from a different thread supra ED and i think you wrote this

but i also have read that lowering the compression its not good, why? for some reason i dont remember, but thats what they say

if u lower compression too much, u will kill performance. that's why na-t cars are soo badss with just a little boost. higher compression also means quicker spool. but for a street car, lower compression for safety (detonation) and run more boost. if ur around 8.0:1 (8.4:1 is stock for turbo) u will never notice the difference. why i got my head milled, and it was pretty warped, i went to a 2.0 tms gasket and there wasn't a change in performance- just piece of mind.
