Head Gasket Thickness

:1zhelp: hey guy i need some advise what thickness metal head gasket should i go with?
i was thinking like 2mm but im thinking that might drop my comprestion to much. so this is where you guys come in to help me out. thanks guys:icon_bigg

Depends how much has been removed from the Block and Head.

Assuming it's all stock it will drop you to 8.26:1.

yes it is all stock, so im going to go with the hks mhg whats the diff between bead and stopper

Bead is open like a Cometic Stopper has a rolled fire-ring.

I believe from all the research I've done that the Stopper is superior...

Can't say for sure as mine is in Transit but I've ran 2 Cometics that were fine until "user error" killed them so the HKS Bead Type should be fine.

whats the max psi the ct26 can spool

Never ran one so I'm only repeating what I've read.

A few guys have pushed them to 18>20 psi but more common is 14ish

They're not going to last well at these levels though not to mention Air Temps go through the roof and run you closer to detonation.

true that. i would just think that it would bealbe to push more then that o well. o geuss i will have to just stick with 14psi or just go bigger. like a garret 60-1 turbo.:aigo:
